It's been a while, hasn't it?

So, lulz, my game was giving me so many issues I shelved it for a while. Then my computer died and wiped everything and I had to start again from scratch. In the meantime I started playing LOTRO and got addicted to that.

But now I have BV and FT, and I am playing again a bit, so there may be some updates soon-ish.

Apparently Dustin's grades are UNACCEPTABLE! You tell him, Brandi!

Is officially back online! Yay!

I finally sucked it up and updated my graphics card drivers and IT WORKED! So now I have a bunch of downloads again annnnd...



I started a new legacy. May get the first part up tonight or tomorrow. (*waits for everyone to start groaning*)

Then about two minutes later she got the fear of changing a diaper (she'd just given birth).

Today I played and Windows did not crash at all! Yay! The down side? It was because I had taken out all of my downloads. Eventually I stuck my hacks and default replacements back in, and so far so good. So I guess I know what I'll be doing the next few days. Ugh.

Anyway, enough of that.

I'm just sick of bitching about my game all the time, I'm ready to start actually posting content again. Heh.

My game crashed today. Twice. The first time I thought maaaaaybe it was because I was playing on the Viejo lot, which is big, and there was a fair amount of lag, plus it was snowing (which makes even more lag).

But the second time? I was playing the O'Mackey house, which doesn't give my game any problems, it's the middle of spring there, and nothing was happening. I was just sending Gabe to bed. Earlier I'd sent Jules to three community lots in a row, which didn't phase my game at all.

There is no fucking reason my game should be crashing. I downloaded some things yesterday, but no hacks, nothing that should cause my game to freak out like it did. Not a goddamn thing, just some clothes and walls and a few other objects.

What the fuck is going on with my game?

ETA: I just checked, and I still have less than 1 GB of custom content in this game. What the fucking fuck?

Been playing with the Maxis families in Riverblossom Hills the past few days - I think it's fun to kind of play out the storylines that Maxis has set up. Not a lot of drama yet, as I haven't gotten very far, but I have some random pics to share. Apologies that a couple of these are small and grainy - I had taken a few before I remembered to turn up the photo quality in the game. Also, you will see the sims and houses gradually get makeovers as I restock on custom content. XD

I think my game has officially FUBAR'd. There is no way I'm going to be able to figure out which of my zillions of downloads is causing all these problems, and if I just remove all or most of my downloads most of my lots (filled with millions of CC) will not load at best and will crash my game at worst.

I think I may have to just trash everything and start again from scratch.

Attempting to load McFarlan lot crashed the game. Might have to give them up for lost.

Will I EVER get a legacy done?????

So I decided to revisit the McFarlan household since I haven't in quite a while today, I've barely played them for weeks, busy with other things. I'm easily distracted, what can I say?

Anyway, about five minutes in and it crashed my whole system.

I'm thinking the McFarlans need a new, smaller, lot. *facepalm* If I didn't adore Seasons as much as I do, I'd be thisclose to uninstalling it. I should not be having these issues on this machine.
